ergonomic design for publishers. We offer a broad range of services including book design,
typesetting, production management, self-publishing guidance, publishing consultancy
and copy editing & proofing, all tailored to the needs of small presses and independent
authors. With a clean, modern aesthetic and a focus on clarity, usability, and strong editorial
design, we bring together the best of style and substance.
Leap.Type was founded by Mark Robinson, a publishing consultant and co-founder of the independent literary fiction publisher Tall Grass Press. With a background in Art & Design (2:1 – UAL) and an MA in Publishing Studies (Distinction – Oxford Brookes University), Mark also has experience working closely with small independent publishers across the UK, combining creative insight with practical, hands-on experience.
